Why are our classes only 45 minutes?"Research suggests that energy levels tend to decline after 45 minutes of exercise, which can negatively impact performance and proper form. A study in the Journal of Sports Science and Medicine found that after 45 minutes of continuous exercise, participants reported increased perceived exertion, muscle fatigue, and ratings of perceived exertion. To combat this, we recommend fitness classes that do not exceed 45 minutes. This allows for a challenging and effective workout without overstraining the body, while also fitting well into busy schedules as a manageable and convenient time commitment."
